Register by Fee
Nov. 30, 2026 $60
Dec. 1, 2026, to Feb. 28, 2027 $65
March 1-31, 2027 $70
At the expo, April 1-2, 2027 $75

Earlier price tiers of $50 and $55 have closed. Registration at the expo is offered only if the race has not filled. Dates to keep, from the race FAQ:

  • Jan. 15, 2027: last day to have your packet mailed, and last day to change your race category so your name prints on your bib
  • Feb. 15, 2027: bib transfers end
  • No refunds, the race says

You pick one of five categories when you register: walk or walk-run; run, over an hour; and three faster run groups (50 to 60 minutes, 40 to 50 minutes and under 40 minutes) that need a verified time from a USATF-certified race. Elite entries are by invitation.

Packet pickup at the expo

There is no race-day packet pickup. Unless your packet is mailed, you collect it at the expo at the Charleston Area Convention Center, 5001 Coliseum Drive, North Charleston:

  • Thursday, April 1: noon to 8 p.m.
  • Friday, April 2: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

To collect for someone else, bring their bib number and a copy of their ID, paper or digital.

Getting to the start in Mount Pleasant

The race is point to point, so most runners leave their cars at a shuttle lot and ride to the start. Buses are free with a race bib and run to the start line from 5 to 6:45 a.m., the shuttle page says. The four lots:

  • Mount Pleasant Towne Centre, 1218 Belk Drive, off U.S. 17 North
  • Seacoast Church, 750 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant
  • North Charleston Convention Center, 5001 Coliseum Drive
  • Downtown Charleston, the corner of Calhoun and Anson streets

After the race, buses leave downtown Charleston from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to take runners back to their lot. They are marked by lot, so board the right one. No strollers on the buses. The race says to be in line by 5 a.m. to be sure of a seat; after 6:30 a.m. it cannot promise you reach the start by 8.

A boat shuttle is also sold with registration. It leaves Fountain Walk Dock by the South Carolina Aquarium at 6, 6:30 and 6:45 a.m. for Patriots Point, where a bus takes runners to Coleman Boulevard. Return boats run from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Driving in from outside town on race morning? The race’s FAQ says to take the U.S. 17 exit for Business 526 (not Interstate 526), which meets Coleman Boulevard at Sea Island Shopping Center, about three-quarters of a mile east of the start. The I-526 bridge stays open.
