Mexican food in Mount Pleasant gathers on Coleman Boulevard, where three places sit within a few blocks, and around Belle Hall on Long Point Road. In the north end, Agaves Cantina is on Highway 41 and La Hacienda is off Highway 17 on South Morgans Point Road.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Mount Pleasant, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We added Cantina 76 and two more Taco Bell and Moe’s locations from their own sites. We left out places we could not confirm on their own sites or in the SC Food Grades database. The places

Agaves Cantina is a Mexican restaurant on Highway 41, one of four Agaves Cantinas in the Charleston area, with a food menu, a drink menu and happy hour specials on its site.

Cantina 76 is a Mexican restaurant and margarita bar on Coleman Boulevard, with sister locations on Devine Street in Columbia, in Greenville and on Kiawah. It does not take reservations, and happy hour runs 4 to 6 p.m. daily.

Chipotle is the burrito and bowl chain’s Highway 17 North restaurant, open every day from 10:45 a.m.

Juanita Greenberg’s Nacho Royale describes its food as “Mexican-ish,” made fresh and fast. It began as a burrito shop on Wentworth Street in Charleston and keeps late hours on Coleman Boulevard.

La Hacienda is part of a family of Lowcountry Mexican restaurants. Its site lists the Mount Pleasant phone number and online ordering for pickup but no hours.

Moe’s Southwest Grill, Belle Hall is the burrito chain’s Long Point Road restaurant, which also caters. Its hours load only in a browser.

Moe’s Southwest Grill, Houston Northcutt is the chain’s second Mount Pleasant restaurant, near Coleman Boulevard.

Rio Chico Mexican Restaurant is on Long Point Road at Belle Hall. The chain’s website lists its other Lowcountry locations but not this one; an Aug. 4, 2026, state inspection record confirms the Mount Pleasant restaurant is operating.

Taco Bell, Coleman Boulevard is the closest of the three Taco Bells to the Old Village and keeps its drive-thru open until 1 a.m.

Taco Bell, Highway 17 serves the north end of town, with drive-thru hours until midnight.

Taco Bell, Isle of Palms Connector is near Towne Centre and stays open latest on weekends.
