Most of Mount Pleasant’s sushi and Asian restaurants are on or just off Highway 17, from Johnnie Dodds Boulevard and Queensborough Boulevard north to the shopping centers near the Isle of Palms Connector. More are in the north end on Oakland Market Road and Highway 41, with others at Belle Hall, on Ben Sawyer Boulevard and on Houston Northcutt Boulevard.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Mount Pleasant, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We added a second Fuji, a second Bon Banh Mi and P.F. Chang’s from their own sites. Two places have no working website; for those, and for any chain page that would not load, a 2026 record in the SC Food Grades database confirms they are operating. We dropped two candidates we could not confirm. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? The places

Bon Banh Mi, Ben Sawyer is the south Mount Pleasant shop of a small Vietnamese sandwich group, serving the I’On, Sullivan’s Island and Old Village side of town. It asks customers to double-check which of its two Mount Pleasant shops they are ordering from.

Bon Banh Mi, Oakland Market is the group’s north Mount Pleasant shop, near Carolina Park, Dunes West and Park West, with the same menu, kids menu and hours.

China East is a Chinese restaurant in the Harris Teeter shopping center on Houston Northcutt Boulevard. Its old web address no longer belongs to the restaurant; a June 2, 2026, state inspection record confirms it is operating.

Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill, Belle Hall is a sushi bar and grill on Long Point Road that takes reservations through Resy and books holiday parties.

Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill, Highway 41 is the group’s north Mount Pleasant restaurant. Its location page would not load for us; a July 31, 2026, state inspection record confirms it is operating.

Great Wall is a Chinese restaurant on Highway 17 North. Its listed website no longer loads; a July 21, 2026, state inspection record confirms it is operating.

Hunan serves Chinese food for dine-in and takeout on Queensborough Boulevard, with online ordering through its site.

Locals Sushi & Sports Pub pairs sushi with hibachi, tacos and wings, with sports on its TVs. Rolls are discounted on Mondays from 3 p.m. and on Thursdays.

Pattaya Thai is a Thai restaurant on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard that closes between lunch and dinner on weekdays and offers in-store pickup through online ordering.

P.F. Chang’s is the Asian and Chinese restaurant chain’s Highway 17 North location.

Tokyo Bistro is an Asian bistro on Highway 17 North with online ordering, open late on Friday and Saturday.
