The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market, founded in 1998 and run by the Town of Mount Pleasant, is the town’s weekly market for local produce, meat, baked goods and prepared food. It runs on Tuesday afternoons from April through September, so it is closed for the season now. In fall and winter, Boone Hall Farms’ roadside market is open daily, and the town’s holiday markets fill the same pavilion in November and December.
