Who the festival helps
The festival began in 1988, and in a tradition started by the Magwood family, its net proceeds go each year to local nonprofits that recruit and manage the volunteers. The 2026 beneficiaries were the East Cooper Mount Pleasant Kiwanis and the Lonon Foundation. Buying official festival souvenirs adds to the gift.
Artisans, sponsors and vendors can email events@tompsc.com; the artisan application for 2026 has closed.
